  • The unnamed Class 1 railroad will deploy trucks using Venti precision-navigation software, sensors and components in operating U.S. rail yards.
  • Initial deployment covers two major intermodal facilities, with driverless trucks loading, moving and unloading containers in full operational production.
  • Venti expects 100-plus autonomous container-moving trucks across eight railroad sites by 2027 and more than 600 by the end of the decade.

Venti Technologies develops autonomous vehicle logistics systems for industrial yards, ports, airports, rail yards, warehouses and factories. Its AV systems have moved more than 340,000 containers and were selected in 2026 for production deployment at major U.S. intermodal railroad terminals.
