AiMOGA puts Mornine into Chery dealership service work Date: 2025-10-19 Type: ARTICLE Deck: Mornine gives Chery a humanoid service robot for car retail, with AiMOGA testing multilingual reception, vehicle explanation and dealership support inside the automaker sales network. URL: https://korthos.xyz/research/aimoga-puts-mornine-into-chery-dealership-service-work AiMOGA showed Mornine doing car-retail work at the 2025 Chery Global Innovation Conference in Wuhu: presenting a vehicle, opening doors, guiding visitors, and coordinating with the car interface. The company said the robot handled an autonomous presentation, vehicle explanation, and car-machine collaboration demo, while Chery International described broader summit use across presentation, guidance, water pouring, and door-opening scenes. AiMOGA is incubated by Chery Group, which gives Mornine a first operating channel most service-humanoid startups do not have. Chery has dealer showrooms, overseas launches, vehicle data, product scripts, customer events, and branded environments where a robot can be tested around known products rather than dropped into an open-ended public setting. The robot is built for reception and customer interaction in structured indoor settings. Public material describes a 40-degree-of-freedom body, 168-centimeter height, and 70-kilogram weight. Those specifications fit showroom work more naturally than heavy logistics: speech, navigation, door interaction, product explanation, and guided customer flow around vehicles that already contain screens, sensors, infotainment systems, and control interfaces. The deployment claim needs careful boundaries. AiMOGA said Mornine had moved from concept to real-world deployment across more than 30 countries, with Malaysia and Hong Kong appearing in earlier partnership materials. Public material does not disclose active site counts, robot counts, paid contract structure, average daily usage, uptime, intervention rates, language coverage, or whether ordinary dealers kept using the robot after launch events ended. The competitive field includes UBTECH Walker service work, Pudu service robots, RobotLAB-style hospitality and showroom integrations, SoftBank Robotics service deployments, and humanoid developers trying to enter customer-facing roles. AiMOGA's distinction is Chery-channel access: the robot can be placed into automotive retail environments where the product, customer journey, and data systems are already controlled by its parent ecosystem. The strategic question is whether Mornine can become dealership infrastructure instead of event theater. If AiMOGA converts Chery's showroom footprint into repeatable reception, guidance, and vehicle-interaction workflows, it gains a commercial surface that most humanoid startups lack: a distribution channel with products to explain, sites to staff, and customers already arriving to evaluate machines. --- Have a robotics update Korthos should review?
