EngineAI Adds a Second T800 Production Base

EngineAI added a second T800 production base this week, with the first Zhengzhou-made batch rolling off the line for shipment across China and overseas.
The Zhengzhou facility covers around 8,000 square metres and handles inspection, assembly, testing and shipment. Earlier plans put first-phase capacity at roughly 5,000 humanoids annually, with later expansion towards 10,000.
The rollout follows the launch of EngineAI’s 12,000-square-metre Shenzhen manufacturing base in May. The first production T800s rolled off that line, which the company says can complete one robot every 15 minutes.
EngineAI has not disclosed the size of either batch or cumulative T800 deliveries. The latest milestone nevertheless gives the company T800 output from production bases in both Shenzhen and Zhengzhou.
The T800 is EngineAI’s full-size general-purpose humanoid. The company positions it for industrial manufacturing, commercial services, research and education, although it has not identified the customers or initial tasks behind the Zhengzhou shipment.
