About Acconeer
Acconeer's pulsed-coherent radar can operate behind plastic and detect distance, presence and small movements without a visible sensor aperture. Yukai Engineering selected the single-chip A1 for BOCCO emo after comparing radar with time-of-flight sensing, then ported Acconeer's SDK to its Linux-based custom board.
Inside BOCCO emo, the sensor distinguishes a passing person from someone standing directly in front of the robot and triggers different responses. Acconeer also supplies evaluation hardware, software tools and integration support for embedded product teams.
