About Arkion
Arkion ingests inspection imagery and spatial data from drones, helicopters, vehicles and field teams, then converts it into a structured model of a utility network. Its analytics process RGB, thermal and LiDAR inputs to identify components, detect defects, measure vegetation proximity and anonymise sensitive imagery. Findings are linked to the operator’s GIS and asset records so a suspected fault becomes a maintenance item rather than an isolated image.
Utilities use the platform across distribution and transmission inspections, inventory programmes and post-disaster assessment. Arkion’s workflow covers data upload, automated analysis, human review and export into planning or work-order systems, allowing the same inspection programme to scale across large networks. The company traded as Skyqraft before adopting the Arkion name, reflecting its expansion from aerial-data analysis into a broader grid-intelligence platform.
