About AVIC Chengdu UAS
AVIC Chengdu UAS supplies complete Wing Loong systems combining aircraft, control stations, communications, payloads and support equipment. A delivered configuration combines the fixed-wing air vehicle, ground-control stations, communications, mission payloads and integrated support equipment. The current family includes Wing Loong-1, 1D, 1E, 2, 2D, 2H and X variants developed around long-endurance surveillance, communications, meteorological and military missions.
The company concentrates on aircraft integration, final assembly, flight testing, customer delivery and lifecycle support while coordinating suppliers across the wider AVIC group. Mission payloads and operating stations are configured around each programme, and support can include training, spares, maintenance and later upgrades. Wing Loong-2 weather aircraft have also completed meteorological and cloud-seeding operations, extending the platform beyond its established defence export market.
