About Builder Assist

Surface Assist combines a mobile elevating work platform, a six-axis Schneider Electric Lexium cobot and a dedicated perception-and-compute module. The arm carries up to 30 kg with stated repeatability of ±0.2 mm, while range and 3D sensors locate the work surface. Onboard GPU capacity, six teleoperation cameras and mains or battery power support operation across Haulotte platforms reaching approximately 6, 8 or 20 metres.

Builder Assist supplies task modules around the common base. Drill Assist can locate reinforcement, drill holes from 5 to 40 mm and up to one metre deep, mark points and record completion data against the site plan. Clean, Paint and Inspect modules address adjacent surface workflows, with sanding and rendering on the product roadmap. The robot first scans and plans the work, executes the tool path and then captures an after-state for quality and compliance reporting, placing it within a contractor’s digital construction workflow rather than operating as an isolated arm.
