About BXI Robotics
BXI develops the mechanical and control layers beneath its complete humanoid platforms. Elf 3 uses 31 independently controlled degrees of freedom excluding the hands, with hollow-shaft planetary joint modules, a distributed CAN-FD control network and an onboard computer running ROS 2-compatible software. Depth cameras and other sensing support perception, while optional dexterous hands extend the platform into manipulation research.
The company also supplies joint motors, arms, hands, control modules and teleoperation equipment as separate products. Customers can purchase Elf 3 as a development platform or commission a customised humanoid through BXI’s OEM and ODM workflow, covering mechanical appearance, joint configuration, control integration, validation and delivery. BXI provides the parent company and support organisation for the Elf 3 product line.
