About Charge Robotics

Charge Robotics is developing portable factories that are transported directly to utility-scale solar sites. Tracks, mounting brackets and photovoltaic modules are fed into the equipment, which assembles them into completed sections under controlled conditions. A robotic field vehicle then carries the assembled section from the production area and places it at the required position in the array.

The system changes solar installation from repeated manual assembly across a large field into a factory-and-delivery workflow. Construction crews continue to supply components, prepare the site and supervise the operation, while the robotic equipment performs the repetitive lifting, alignment and placement. Charge has tested prototypes with SOLV Energy, using project-site deployments to refine the machinery around real component tolerances, terrain and construction sequencing.
