TrashBot photographs each item as it enters the opening and uses computer vision to classify it against the recycling rules configured for that location. The internal robotic mechanism directs each item into the appropriate waste or recycling compartment without requiring the user to select a destination.
The unit provides immediate disposal guidance through its display and monitors compartment fill levels, contamination and item volumes. Facility operators use the resulting dashboard to review waste composition, optimise collection schedules and measure diversion performance across airports, stadiums, hospitals and other high-traffic sites. CleanRobotics reports sorting accuracy of up to 96%.
