About CONTROP

CONTROP develops gyro-stabilised electro-optical payloads that combine daylight cameras, cooled or uncooled thermal imagers, laser rangefinders and onboard tracking. The stabilised gimbal keeps the line of sight on a target while the host aircraft, vehicle or vessel moves, allowing operators to detect, recognise and identify objects at longer range than an unstabilised camera installation.

The STAMP family is sized for small and medium UAVs, iSea systems are adapted to maritime surveillance, and SPEED payloads support longer-range land and airborne work. Processing can include image enhancement, automatic video tracking and AI-assisted detection before the output is passed to the vehicle’s mission computer or command system. CONTROP supplies the payload and its interfaces, while the platform manufacturer integrates power, mechanical mounting, communications and operator controls.
