Daedalean trains and validates camera-based perception for safety-critical aviation, including traffic detection, terrain awareness and navigation where GNSS is degraded or unavailable. Its work is shaped by aviation-assurance requirements, so model development includes verification and certification evidence rather than only demonstrating experimental autonomy.
Following the completed acquisition, Daedalean operates within Destinus as a centre for AI engineering, autonomy and advanced perception. It supplies the intelligence layer for civil and defence aircraft programmes rather than manufacturing a complete aircraft under its own name.
