DHL applies different robot types to individual stages of parcel and warehouse flow. Boston Dynamics’ Stretch unloads loose cartons from trailers onto conveyors, while Locus and 6 River mobile robots guide picking and move orders between storage, packing and dispatch areas.

DHL reports more than 2,000 robots operating across its UK, Ireland and EMEA supply-chain network, including hundreds of collaborative mobile robots deployed across fulfilment centres.
