About Dishcraft Robotics

Dishcraft’s robotic washing system moved commercial tableware through a centralised cleaning process rather than installing a specialised robot in every kitchen. Used dishes were collected in transport bins and taken to a Dishcraft hub, where a manipulator presented each item to a rotating scrubber. Machine-vision and machine-learning inspection then checked whether food or residue remained before the item passed through sanitation and returned to circulation.

The same hub-and-route infrastructure supported reusable food-service containers. Restaurants, offices and institutions placed used items in Dishdrop collection points; Dishcraft collected them, processed them at high volume and redistributed clean inventory. This positioned robotics inside a broader service workflow covering collection, washing, quality control and logistics. The model was designed to replace both labour-intensive back-of-house dishwashing and single-use packaging with pooled, repeatedly circulated tableware managed as a service.
