About Electric Sheep Robotics

Electric Sheep Robotics developed autonomy for commercial mowing by combining onboard perception and control with data gathered through operating landscaping businesses. Its robots were deployed on real customer properties, where repeated mowing across changing terrain, vegetation and weather produced the field data used to improve navigation and task performance. The company’s original model joined robotics development with ownership of service providers, giving the engineering team direct access to deployment, maintenance and customer workflows.

Oso Electric Equipment acquired Electric Sheep Robotics in October 2025 and retained its team and autonomy technology. The current Oso business applies that software to electric outdoor equipment, supported by fleet tracking, diagnostics and a cloud dashboard for deployed machines. Its Large World Model programme is intended to learn from real operating environments rather than controlled test sites. Electric Sheep should therefore be presented as the acquired autonomy business behind Oso’s current equipment platform, not as an independent company merely trading under a new name.
