About Elio
Elio places programmable micromirror layers within the optical path before light reaches the image sensor. Software controls those mirrors to select viewing directions, concentrate resolution, modify focus or filter incoming information in response to the task being performed.
AI models learn how to configure the optical system together with downstream image processing, allowing sensing and computation to be optimised as one pipeline. The approach supports compact adaptive cameras for robotics, microscopy, semiconductor inspection and defence systems where fixed lenses cannot provide every required view or level of detail.
