About ERKO
An ERKO cable-harness cell uses an i4L SCARA with machine vision, feeding equipment and an integrated controller to handle terminals. Component presentation, robot motion and inspection are engineered together around a repeatable assembly sequence.
The Robotics division also develops systems for bushing and separator assembly, stud welding and busbar processing. Those applications draw on the wider company's manufacturing base while remaining a distinct automation activity alongside its Electro and Aero divisions.
