About Esh-Tech Systems
DroneLight combines electro-optical detection, high-rate tracking and a pulsed laser in one short-range counter-UAS system. A 300 mm optical aperture and image-processing stack maintain line of sight on a moving target, while the laser concentrates energy on a vulnerable point to disable the aircraft. Esh-Tech states an effective range of about one kilometre and an engagement time of roughly two seconds.
The system can operate independently or receive tracks from radar and wider air-defence networks. Its 360-degree tracking unit follows more than five position updates per second and passes the final aim point to the laser director. DroneLight is designed for fixed-site, vehicle or containerised installation around bases, borders and critical infrastructure, providing a hard-kill layer after longer-range sensors have detected and classified the threat.
