About Fellow Robots
Fellow Robots developed mobile retail robots that combined autonomous navigation, product search and customer interaction. OSHbot and LoweBot used lidar and vision to move through store aisles, display product information and guide shoppers to selected items. Inventory configurations also scanned shelving to identify missing, misplaced or incorrectly priced stock.
The company worked with Orchard Supply Hardware and Lowe’s on regional pilot deployments in the United States. These programmes tested robots as a customer-service and inventory-data layer inside live retail environments. Fellow Robots did not establish an enduring chain-wide operating fleet and later ceased active operations, making the company a historical retail-robotics developer.
