About Flink Robotics
Flink Robotics builds compact mobile manipulation systems for parcel and item handling. Flinkbot combines a mobile base, robotic arm, cameras, force sensing and onboard state estimation in a footprint of roughly one square metre. The system is designed to singulate, load and unload variable parcels while moving between work areas, avoiding the fixed geometry and installation work associated with a conveyor-fed robot cell.
The software maintains a world model from visual, force and robot-state data and uses physics-informed learning to plan manipulation around objects it has not handled before. Multiple Flinkbots can be deployed together and reassigned as volume changes. Flink offers a paid trial followed by a robot-as-a-service model, with current public pricing of €50,000 for a trial and €12,000 per month for ongoing deployment. Work with Swiss Post and ETH Zurich has focused on multi-robot parcel logistics, placing the platform between manual handling and permanently installed automation.
