About ForSight Robotics
JASPER places robotic microsurgical instruments around the eye while the surgeon controls their movement through a dedicated console and high-resolution visualisation system. Motion scaling and tremor reduction translate the surgeon's hand movements into smaller, steadier movements at the instrument tip.
The platform is being developed first around cataract surgery and is designed to support repeatable steps across the procedure while preserving surgeon control. ForSight completed the first fully robot-assisted cataract operation in a human in April 2026 and is advancing JASPER through clinical development and the regulatory process.
