About Fortress Safety
Fortress Safety designs mechanical, electromechanical and networked interlocks that enforce a safe sequence before personnel can enter hazardous machinery. Systems can isolate power, retain keys, lock access doors and prevent restart until guards are closed and the authorised operating sequence has been completed.
The amGardpro, tGard, mGard, Osbourn and Remlive families address applications ranging from individual machine doors to warehouse cells and large process installations. Modular switches, trapped-key components, operator controls and network interfaces are configured around the machine’s risk assessment. Fortress also supplies design tools, safety training and application engineering for automation builders and plant operators.
