About Freedom Robotics

Freedom Robotics built an operating layer that ran partly on each robot and partly in the cloud. Its on-device software collected telemetry, executed commands and maintained connectivity, while web tools provided fleet health, logs, alerts, remote control and replay. Robotics teams could add those functions to different hardware and software stacks instead of building a separate monitoring and support system for every product.

The platform covered the transition from development into field operation. Engineers used remote access and historical data to diagnose failures, operations teams watched deployed units and support staff could teleoperate a robot when autonomy encountered an exception. APIs connected the service to internal applications and allowed actions to be triggered from fleet events. Freedom Robotics therefore supplied shared infrastructure beneath the customer’s application rather than a robot or autonomy model of its own, helping small teams manage geographically distributed machines through one control plane.
