About Fugro
Fugro collects offshore and subsea data using uncrewed surface vessels, remotely operated vehicles, airborne systems and conventional survey assets. Its Blue Essence USVs can carry survey sensors and deploy electric ROVs while crews pilot and monitor the mission from remote operations centres. This reduces the people and fuel required offshore while maintaining live access to the collected data.
Customers use the service for seabed mapping, pipeline inspection, offshore wind development and infrastructure monitoring. Fugro supplies the robotic platform together with mission planning, vehicle operation, positioning, sensor acquisition, processing and engineering interpretation. A growing network of remote centres, including Kuala Lumpur, coordinates vessels across operating regions and allows specialists to participate without travelling to every site.
