About Hanwha Systems
Hanwha Systems supplies the sensor, command and autonomy layers used across Korean defence platforms. Its portfolio includes surveillance radar, electro-optics, tactical communications, combat-management systems and avionics. These components are integrated into aircraft, ships, ground systems and wider command networks so detections and mission data can move between sensors, operators and effectors.
The unmanned-maritime range includes AURA and Sea Ghost surface vessels, mine-hunting and anti-submarine underwater vehicles and docking systems for recovering UUVs. Open architectures support changing payloads, while autonomous route planning, COLREG-based collision avoidance and alternative navigation are designed for degraded GPS conditions. Hanwha is also developing swarm and manned–unmanned coordination through naval combat systems.
