About Hermes Robotics

Hermes Robotics installs an Autonomy Retrofit Kit on existing street sweepers and other low-speed commercial vehicles. Cameras, positioning sensors, drive-by-wire interfaces and an onboard computer allow the system to control steering, braking and propulsion while preserving the underlying cleaning machinery. The retrofit approach lets fleet operators automate the street sweepers and low-speed vehicles they already own.

A route is mapped and configured around the operating site before the vehicle repeats sweeping work under autonomous control. Remote supervision and safety systems handle exceptions, while local perception responds to people, parked vehicles and other obstacles. Hermes offers autonomous sweeping as a service to municipalities, campuses and commercial operators, combining the vehicle conversion with deployment, software and fleet support.
