About Hop Aero
Hop Aero is developing rocket-powered cargo vehicles for moving supplies over hundreds of miles without depending on roads, ports or established airfields. The vehicle concept is intended to launch from a compact operating area, travel rapidly to a distant destination and deliver cargo into an austere or contested location where conventional transport would be slow or exposed.
The system serves defence and allied point-to-point cargo logistics across austere or contested locations. Mission planning, guidance and vehicle control must coordinate the powered flight, terminal approach and delivery method around the cargo and destination. Hop Aero remains at an early engineering stage, developing the point-to-point logistics architecture before a fielded production vehicle or completed operational service.
