Hudson’s automation stack includes Scorpion and SOLO liquid handlers, LabLinx microplate transport, PlateCrane robotic arms and Protean workstations. SoftLinx software coordinates instruments and labware movement so assays, sample preparation and screening can run as linked workflows rather than isolated benchtop steps.
The company can combine these modules into expandable cells serving synthetic biology, protein crystallography, genomics and high-throughput screening. Hudson Robotics remains a visible product brand, but the operating company adopted the Hudson Lab Automation identity in January 2025 to unify its previously separate businesses.
