About IDS Imaging
IDS manufactures area-scan cameras across USB, GigE and embedded interfaces, with sensor, shutter, resolution and housing options selected around the application. The uEye range covers compact board-level devices through rugged industrial cameras, while Ensenso and Nion systems add stereo and active 3D imaging for depth measurement, bin picking and robot guidance.
IDS peak provides a common software interface for camera configuration, triggering, image acquisition and integration with third-party vision libraries. IDS NXT places AI inference directly inside selected cameras, allowing a developer to train a model, deploy it to the device and return classifications or detections without a separate industrial computer. Customers combine the camera with lenses, illumination, processing and application software for inspection, measurement, medical imaging and autonomous-machine perception.
