About Kilter

Kilter’s AX-1 travels through vegetable fields and uses onboard imaging and AI models to distinguish crops from weeds at plant level. Its patented Single Drop Technology then places a small herbicide droplet directly on the selected weed instead of spraying a continuous blanket across the field. Autonomous navigation and treatment logging allow the robot to work row by row while preserving a digital record of what was detected and treated.

Growers deploy AX-1 as an alternative to repeated broad-area spraying or manual weeding, particularly in high-value crops where chemical drift and crop damage matter. The machine’s precision application reduces the volume of herbicide carried and limits contact with soil and neighbouring plants. Independent Dutch testing classified the system at DRT99 after measuring more than 99% spray-drift reduction. Kilter supplies the robot together with field support and agronomic learning tools, so performance can be adapted to crop, weed and operating conditions.
