L3Harris WESCAM develops gyro-stabilised electro-optical and infrared payloads that maintain line of sight while the host platform moves. MX-Series systems combine daylight and thermal cameras with laser rangefinding, designation and other mission sensors in configurations sized for aircraft, UAVs, vehicles and maritime platforms. Internal stabilisation and image processing support long-range observation and tracking.

The payload is integrated with the platform’s power, navigation, mission computer and operator console so imagery and target data enter the wider surveillance or fire-control workflow. Smaller MX-8 and MX-10 systems suit constrained aircraft, while larger MX-15 and MX-20 configurations provide longer-range sensing and additional channels. L3Harris supplies installation engineering, training and lifecycle support alongside the sensor hardware.
