About LG Innotek
LG Innotek develops camera modules, optical components, lidar, radar and vehicle-sensing assemblies using internal lens, actuator, packaging and signal-processing capabilities. These modules combine several sensing functions within compact packages for mobile devices, vehicles and robots where size, calibration and production consistency are as important as the individual sensor.
A physical-AI partnership with TDK is extending the portfolio into multisensor robot modules. The companies plan to combine cameras with inertial, position and acoustic sensing for improved motion compensation and localisation, followed by flexible tactile modules for robot hands, arms and bodies. Initial next-generation vision and tactile products are targeted for 2027.
