About Orchard Robotics
FruitScope Vision mounts cameras and edge compute on a tractor or ATV already travelling through an orchard or vineyard. The system records individual trees, vines and fruit at operating speeds of roughly 1–12 mph, then processes the imagery onboard without requiring a continuous field connection. Growers receive measurements of fruit count, size, colour and location by the following morning.
The resulting records are stored in Orchard OS and Vault as a spatial history of each block and plant. Managers can compare yield development, target thinning or harvesting and identify areas requiring inspection with broader coverage than manual sampling alone. Current crop support includes apples, grapes, blueberries, cherries, almonds, pistachios and citrus. Orchard Robotics sells the sensing and intelligence layer for machinery already used by the grower, allowing it to work with machinery already used by the grower.
