About Overture Life
Overture Life’s DaVitri platform semi-automates the preparation of human oocytes and embryos for vitrification and thawing. Microfluidic cartridges control movement through the required solutions and exposure intervals, replacing repeated manual pipetting and timing steps. Software guides the embryologist through the cycle and records process data, while clinical staff retain responsibility for sample identification, loading, verification and final cryostorage.
The system is designed to reduce operator-dependent variation in one of the most technically sensitive IVF laboratory workflows and increase the number of samples an embryologist can process consistently. DaVitri has undergone clinical study comparing its results with manual preparation and is being introduced through regional distribution partnerships. Emitac Healthcare Solutions is supporting launch and clinic access in the United Arab Emirates, extending Overture’s commercial route into the Gulf fertility market.
