About PhaseSpace
PhaseSpace’s active markers flash uniquely coded infrared LEDs that identify themselves to the camera system. This prevents marker swapping when several tracked objects cross or move close together, reducing the reconstruction work required after a high-speed experiment.
Impulse cameras sample at up to 960 frames per second and triangulate the LED positions with sub-millimetre precision. Robotics teams attach markers to people, tools, robot links and test objects to obtain ground-truth pose data for validation, teleoperation, biomechanics and human-robot interaction research.
