About RoboTire

RoboTire’s system automates the wheel-removal and refitting stages inside a service bay. Smaller robot arms loosen and reinstall lug nuts, while larger arms support and move the wheels. Robot-mounted Zivid 3D cameras locate the vehicle, wheel and fasteners in space, allowing the cell to compensate for differences in vehicle geometry instead of relying on a single fixed fixture.

The equipment is supplied as an integrated service module for tyre retailers and fleet facilities, with guarding, safety controls and software coordinating the sequence around a raised vehicle. A technician remains responsible for tyre-machine work and inspection while the robots remove much of the repetitive lifting and fastening. Installations with Discount Tire have demonstrated four-wheel changes in roughly 20–25 minutes, and RoboTire’s longer-term model is to place containerised automated-maintenance systems inside existing shops or fleet locations before expanding into adjacent service tasks.
