Rohde & Schwarz supplies radio-frequency test, spectrum monitoring, secure communications and electronic-warfare systems. ARDRONIS passively monitors control links to detect, classify and locate radio-controlled drones and their operators. THORIS adds radar and electro-optical or infrared sensing to the RF layer, combining several detections into a shared track and identification workflow.

The architecture can be installed at a fixed site or on a vehicle and remains effector-agnostic, allowing customers to connect jammers or other approved countermeasures. An operator receives the fused air picture, assesses the contact and controls the response through the command layer. Rohde & Schwarz is also working with TRUMPF on a laser-based THORIS configuration, with a fully integrated vehicle planned for later fielding after staged demonstration and validation.
