About Runke Juneng
Runke Juneng’s Centaur combines a humanoid upper body with a four wheel-legged mobile base. The wheels support efficient travel across industrial floors, while the articulated legs adjust stance and body height and help the platform negotiate uneven ground. A modular torso can carry dual arms, dexterous end effectors and force sensing, with LiDAR and depth or binocular cameras supplying navigation and manipulation input.
The architecture is intended for hazardous industrial and emergency-response work that demands greater payload and stability than a conventional biped. The company states an operating payload of roughly 100–120 kilograms and is developing configurations for inspection, handling and intervention around heavy equipment. Runke Juneng reported that most core components had been localised and planned initial small-batch production from the fourth quarter of 2026, placing Centaur at the transition from prototype demonstrations toward early delivery.
