Samas developed a compact circular-tracking cell for medical-diagnostics packaging. Bottles are identified on a rotating ring, tracked in motion and transferred to a synchronised linear conveyor using the OMRON Robotics Packaging Library.
Standard configurations handle 50 to 60 parts per minute, with some reaching 80. Digital format changes minimise mechanical adjustment when bottle formats change, while the compact footprint fits the cell between upstream handling and flow-pack or cartoning equipment.
