About Stanley Robotics
Stan is a battery-electric robot that drives beneath a parked vehicle, lifts it by the tyres and carries it to a software-assigned storage position. Because customers do not enter the robot-only storage area, cars can be placed closer together and without driving aisles between every row. The management system remembers each vehicle and schedules retrieval around the customer’s return.
Drivers leave the car in an enclosed handover cabin and keep the key. The robot photographs and stores the vehicle before returning it to a collection cabin later. Stanley operates a commercial service at Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport and launched a robotic-parking programme with London Gatwick in July 2026, extending the system into a second major airport market.
