About Swarm Aero

Swarm Aero’s Universal Swarm Node provides sensing, networking and edge compute aboard each aircraft, allowing vehicles to share information and coordinate locally rather than sending every decision through a central controller. The architecture is intended to keep the group functioning when communications are intermittent or individual nodes are lost.

A mission-level command layer translates operator intent into tasks for the participating aircraft and presents fleet status through a browser-based interface. Swarm Aero is developing the aircraft, autonomy and manufacturing system together so collaborative behaviour and production cost are considered during airframe design rather than added after the vehicle is complete.
