About TAF Industries
TAF Industries develops interceptor aircraft, guidance equipment and operating software for engaging one-way attack drones. Octopus-100 uses an electric fixed-wing design, onboard computer vision and automatic terminal targeting to close on the selected aircraft after launch. TAF lists a maximum speed of 200 km/h, operating altitude up to five kilometres and an engagement range of approximately 20 kilometres.
A ground team detects or receives the target track, launches the interceptor and supervises the engagement through the control system. Automatic guidance reduces the precision required from a manual FPV pilot during the terminal phase. TAF supplies complete systems to Ukrainian units and develops its products from frontline feedback, linking aircraft production with operator training, maintenance and continuing software revision.
