Founded in 2016, Taoshi Intelligent develops compact gearing around a right-angle transmission architecture intended to reduce the space required inside robot joints. The company combines miniature precision reducers with motor and sensing elements in integrated modules, giving robot manufacturers a component-level or assembled-joint procurement path.
Taoshi operates a roughly 20,000-square-metre production base and told 36Kr that current capacity is 500,000 to 700,000 key modules, with a new factory planned for 1 million to 1.5 million. The company also disclosed a 100,000-unit dexterous-hand joint-module supply agreement and relationships with about 100 robotics companies.
