Ubiros’ current gripper family comprises Gentle Duo, Gentle Pro and Gentle Flex. Gentle Duo provides a two-finger parallel grasp for varied object geometry, Gentle Pro forms a compliant enclosing grip for delicate or irregular products, and Gentle Flex uses application-specific adaptive fingers. Each system is electrically actuated from a 24-volt supply, removing compressors, valves and pneumatic tubing while supporting payloads up to 1.5 kilograms.
The grippers are designed as complete end effectors with power and data connections for robot arms and automated machines. Their soft contact surfaces distribute force around fruit, packaged goods, laboratory items and mixed manufacturing components, reducing the need to exchange tooling between product variants. Ubiros positions the products for pick-and-place, sorting and machine-loading cells and reports maintenance-free operation beyond 1.5 million cycles, giving integrators a reusable electric alternative to custom pneumatic soft grippers.
