About VinFast

VinFast manufactures electric cars, buses and scooters through highly automated vehicle plants using industrial robots for welding, painting, assembly and material handling. Its factories combine production equipment with manufacturing-data systems that track vehicle build and quality. Robotics therefore enters the company primarily as operating infrastructure for high-volume vehicle production.

The company is also developing advanced driving with partners including Autobrains and NVIDIA. Current programmes cover Level 2++ functions and a planned Level 4 robotaxi platform, with the vehicle, compute, sensors and driving software integrated around VinFast electric architectures. Separate Vingroup companies such as VinRobotics are introducing industrial and humanoid robots into VinFast facilities, but those machines should not be attributed to VinFast as proprietary robot products.
