Wonder Robotics develops onboard perception and flight-control software that lets an aircraft understand the space immediately around it. WonderLand combines short-range three-dimensional sensing with longer-range two-dimensional perception to estimate clearance, detect obstacles and select a landing area. The software can guide vertical take-off and landing aircraft onto unprepared ground without depending on a surveyed pad or external landing infrastructure.
The company is extending that architecture through IroNav for navigation, target tracking and precise manoeuvring in environments where GNSS or communications are degraded, denied or spoofed. Supported missions include landing on moving maritime decks, operating close to structures and recovering in cluttered terrain. Wonder Robotics supplies the autonomy layer to aircraft manufacturers and defence customers rather than building one airframe, integrating with the vehicle’s sensors, compute and flight controller. This lets different drones add obstacle avoidance and terminal guidance while keeping the underlying aircraft and mission payload.
