About Youngwoo DSP
Youngwoo DSP develops automated optical-inspection equipment for semiconductor wafers, display panels, microLED products and secondary batteries. Its semiconductor range includes two- and three-dimensional bump inspection, wafer surface inspection and roughness measurement. Cameras, precision motion stages and image-processing software locate small defects and dimensional variation before the workpiece advances to later production stages.
The company also integrates factory-automation and robotic-transfer systems around those inspection processes. A transfer installation coordinates carriers, robots and equipment handoffs so wafers or other products move between stations without repeated manual handling. In June 2026 Youngwoo DSP signed a KRW 5.45 billion contract with SY Co. for a smart robot transport system running through March 2027, adding a significant factory-logistics programme to its inspection-equipment business.
