About IronBOT

IronBOT lifts bundled transverse and longitudinal rebar, transports it across a bridge deck, separates individual bars and places them onto the developing reinforcement mat. The system handles more than 5,000 pounds per hour, reducing the manual carrying and repetitive positioning normally performed by a large crew.

A trained Robot Supervisor coordinates the machine with field workers, who continue alignment, spacing and specialised placement around obstructions.
