About TyBOT
TyBOT travels along bridge-deck screed rails, locates rebar intersections and ties selected patterns without a prior digital map or conventional robot programming. The machine can complete more than 1,200 ties per hour and supports full or alternating patterns across horizontal reinforcing steel.
A two-hour deployment process prepares the robot for shifts reaching approximately ten hours. The system handles the repetitive bulk tying while crews focus on edges, obstructions and specialised areas. Advanced Construction Robotics supplies TyBOT through a robot-as-a-service model with mobilisation, operation and support, and has deployed it across active bridge projects.
