About AEON

AEON is a 165-centimetre, 60-kilogram wheeled humanoid with 34 degrees of freedom. It travels at up to 2.4 metres per second and carries eight kilograms continuously or 15 kilograms for shorter periods, giving the platform human-scale reach without the balance and energy requirements of bipedal locomotion.

Hexagon combines multimodal sensors with its spatial-intelligence and mission-control technology so AEON can interpret industrial assets, navigate changing workspaces and execute inspection or handling tasks. Batteries last up to four hours and can be exchanged automatically for continuous operation. The platform is being developed for reality capture, manipulation and operator-assistance programmes in industrial facilities.
